Compulsory Basic Training

The first step towards your motorcycle licence

Compulsory Basic Training is provided on a daily basis and must be pre-booked. The course consists of five elements:

Introduction
Vehicle Maintenance
Off-Road Control
Road Craft
On-Road Training (minimum 2 hours)

The minimum time to legally complete the course is six hours for persons with previous experience. Total beginners or people with slight disabilities may on occasions take longer than one day.

All our courses start at 9:30am prompt, pupils must bring their licence [both parts] and the course tuition fee with them. Pupils using their own bike must also bring their insurance document and MOT if appropriate.

The motorcycles and mopeds we use are new or near new Chinese motorcycles which have proved to be reliable and ideal learning bikes.
