A2 Intermediate Scheme - 19 to 24

Access to restricted motorcycle licence up to 47bhp

A2 Intermediate Scheme is available at all CMS Centres since its introduction in January 2013. DAS as it is more commonly referred to, allows pupils that are aged from 19 to 24 years old to train and test on Bikes which are restricted to 47bhp, usually 500cc. When you pass your test on these bikes you will have a restricted licence. After two years of holding the A2 licence you may sit the full direct access for a unrestricted A licence, which will consist of the Skills test (Mod1) and On Road (Mod 2) but you will not require a further theory test.

Note: Students must have passed the Motorcycle Theory Test before sitting the practical tests.

3 DAY COURSE - PRICES

For the experienced motorcyclist the 3 Day Course - Day 1 introduction to the 500cc (DAS) bikes with training for both Mod 1 and Mod 2, Day 2 consists of Skills test (Mod 1) and further varied road riding in all traffic conditions including town and country in preparation for your On Road (Mod 2) test.

Day 3 includes a further training session before undertaking the On Road (Mod 2) Motorcycle Test.

5 DAY COURSE - PRICES

For the inexperienced motorcyclist the 6 Day course - Day 1 is the spent on the 125cc bike building confidence and improving your riding technique. You are then introduced up onto the 500cc (Intermediate) bike and then spend the next 2 days training and undertaking the Skills Test (Mod 1) then riding in all traffic conditions including town and country preparing you for your on Road (Mod 2) test.

Day 5 includes a further training session before undertaking the On Road (Mod 2) Motorcycle Test.
